Biography

William Jarrel Burrow. [1][2][3][4][5][6] was born in about 1765. He was the son of John Jerrald Burrow and Eleanor Cain. He married Polly Burrow on February 25, 1797 in Guilford, North Carolina, United States.[7] Together, they were the parents of Mary (Burrow) Hindmon, John Freeman Burrow, Martha (Burrow) Johnson, Philip Burrow, Eleanor (Burrow) Austin, William Burrow, Alfred Burrow, Eveline (Burrow) Rushing, Banks Burrow, Frances (Burrow) Hill, James D. Burrow and James Jarrel (Jerrell) Burrow.

William Jarrel Burrow was a soldier in the War of 1812. He was a private in the company by Lt. Barrett which was attached to the regiment commanded by Col. Cheatham, Tenessee Volunteers in the war with Great Britain. He volunteered in Bedford County, Tenessee and was hororably discharged about April 6, 1815, at Fort Williams, Alabama. He passed away on October 4, 1819 in Bedford, Tennessee, United States.[8][9][10]

I think the findagrave attached to Burrow-1081 is an error. It is really the grave of Burrow-5, and altho they have the same name, Burrow-5 died relatively young at age 54, and Burrow-1081, if he really was born in 1740, might have died about the same time, at age 79 in 1819, but not likely on the same day. The marriage attached to Burrow-1081 is also in error, it is the marriage of Burrow-5 to Mary "Polly" Burrow. It should also be removed.
