Alice was born about 1883.

Research notes

Alice's birth place is listed as Missouri in the 1920 Census but is listed as Arkansas in her son's (Herbert) death certificate.

The last record I am able to find of her listed as "Alice Norris" is the 1920 US Census with her son, Herbert, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. She also would have died before 1951, as her husband, Emmett Lee Norris' death certificate states he was widowed. Emmett's obituary also states he had a daughter - Nadine Miller. It is unknown if this is Alice's child.

Alice is not listed in Emmett's obituary, suggesting she most likely died prior to Emmett, was divorced, and/or remarried.

Alice may have been Mrs Alice Jeffers, then married to a man by the name of J W Webb in 1897, at 18 years old. However, this marriage record is from Ohio. Under the name Miss Alice Webb, she married "E L" Emmett Lee Norris in 1908, at the age of 22. This puts her birth years between 1897 and 1883. Given that Mrs indicates a married woman, her birth year may or may not be earlier than thought. Marriage records are on Ancestry.

""William"" Webb lived with Alice W Webb, and children Zella and Claudie in the 1900 census. Alice had birthed 3 children, 2 survived. They lived in Galena, Missouri. William was originally from Kansas, but his parents were both born in Missouri. They also lived with boarders: Hardin O Hurd, Joseph Smith, John F/S Kincaid, and George Repass or Rebecca.

They also lived in Shohan, Wagoner, Oklahoma the 1910 census. Alice lived with E L Norris, her son Herbert Norris, and her children, Gella, Claude, and Thurman Webb. They also lived with a "hired man", Geo Christian.

Claude Webb was possibly known as "O C". The 1900 census gives his birth year as about 1900. O C Webb died in 1969 at age 68 - birth year was 1900, and he was the son of John W Webb and "Alice Norris Burr" - further research suggests his first name was Orvil or Orval.

So far no birthdate or death date are confirmed for Alice.
