Biography

Thomas was born about 1689, the son of James Burt (abt.1659-abt.1743) and Mary (Thayer) Burt (1669-aft.1743) Thomas Burt married Elizabeth, child of Daniel Axtell and his wife Thankful Pratt and, according to Axtell, moved to Westmoreland, New Hampshire. [1]

He died and was buried in Taunton, Massachusetts: "Thomas, Mar. 29, 1774, in 85th y. [On the stone beside that of Elisabeth, G.R.3.]" [2] and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Taunton, Bristol, Mass.[3]
