Biography

Birth and Parents

Eugene Burt was born in Wisconsin.

Eugene, the second son and third of twelve children of Charles Henry Burt and Mary M. Baldwin was born in June 1861 at Wisconsin. [See 1900 U.S. Census].

In 1880, Eugene (18 years, b. WI) and his brother Herman (17 years, b. MN) were Laborers and residing with their Uncle Lewis J. Baldwin (27 years, b. NY, occupation Farmer), his wife Ellen (26 years, b. NY, occupation Keeping House) and their two children Clinton (4 years) and Annie (2 years) at Warren, Winona, Minnesota.^[1]

Eugene married Rose Emma Hicks in 1885 at Winona, Minnesota. [Needs source].They had one child born at Lewiston, Minnesota:

Death and Burial

Eugene Francis Burt died on 6 January 1941 in his 80th year at Utica.^[4]He is buried in Oakwood Cemetery at Utica, Winona, Minnesota.^[5]
