John Burt was born on April 16, 1704 in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts. His parents were John and Rebecca (Grout) Burk. [1] [2]

John and Elizabeth Nutting announced their intentioned in Groton [3] [2] and were married in Littleton. [4] [2]

Together they had these children born in Groton: [3]

  2. William Burt, b. 1729, m. Hannah Gates.[5]
  3. Sarah Burt, b. 1731.
  4. John Burt, b. 1735.
