Fanny was born about 1878. She was the daughter of Alexander Burt and Jessie Crawford. She married Walter Hislop Young in 1899 and the couple lived most of their lives in England. Fanny passed away before 1978 (have been unable to locate a NZ Death Record so assuming she died in London - does anyone know?).
Marriage Notice: Otago Daily Times, Issue 11512, 26 August 1899: "MARRIAGES. YOUNG-BURT - On the 23rd August, at "Larbert," York place, by the Rev. Wm. Hewitson, B.A., Walter Hislop, second son of George Young, Edinburgh, to Fanny Ross, second daughter of Alexander Burt."
