Biography
Mary Gertrude Burton, daughter of Robert Burton and Margaret Lawrence, was born on October 30, 1880 in Toronto Gore Township, Ontario, Canada.[1][2][3][4] Her father was a farmer and their family lived in Vaughan Township, Ontario.[1]
She married Duncan Fines.[3][4] They had several children. As of the date of the 1921 Census, Mary was living in Toronto Gore Township, Ontario with her husband and their sons: Donald Burton, Robert William, Lawrence Duncan, and Charles Franklin "Charlie".[2] Duncan was a farmer and their family was Presbyterian.[2]
Mary died on August 3, 1972 and was buried with her husband in Nashville Cemetery in Kleinburg, Ontario, Canada.[3][4]
