Mary Burton was born in 1697, the daughter of John Burton and Anne Clarke. She was baptised on 18 March 1697 in Lavenham, Suffolk, England. [1] She married John Goffin on 13 April 1718 at St Peter's church, Burlingham , Norfolk. [2]
