Joseph Lincoln Burton; b. 29 Jan 1851[1] at Orland, Hancock, Maine;

m1. Nellie M. Gray 9 Sep 1888[2] at Orland, Hancock, Maine; he and Nellie M. Gray were divorced;

m2. Dora Deborah Grindle, daughter of William Walker Grindle and Deborah Dodge Carter, 28 Oct 1909[3] at Blue Hill, Hancock, Maine;

He died 1935. He was buried at Seaside Cemetery

Dora Deborah Grindle was born on 18 Feb 1874 at Blue Hill, Hancock, Maine. She married William Alfred Pettingill, son of Melville Eliphalet Pettingill and Mariah Nickerson Proctor, on 25 Jul 1891 at Blue Hill, Hancock, Maine. She died in 1944 at Blue Hill, Hancock, Maine.
