Biography

Robert L. Busby was born in Mississippi in Jul 1865 to Robert and Serena Swaim Busby. They moved to OK and he was brought back by his uncle E. J. Swaim and raised in Lafayette and Pontotoc Counties, MS. He is found in the 1880 Census about 16 years old and shows both parents birth place as Mississippi. Years later he married California Waldrop in Pontotoc County, MS. Where they raised their family and he died in the year 1916.
