Spouse: Pleasant (Pleas) Armstrong Davis[1] 1895–1982[1]
Marriage Date: bef 1915 est
Marriage Place:
A theory that needs more research: When Barshee's sister Samantha died in 1918, she left a husband, Pleasant Armstrong Davis, with two young children, Albert and Hazel. Barshee married her widowed brother-in-law in 1920 and raised her sister's children along with her own. So far the only evidence is Samantha's married name (Davis), and the fact that Barshee was too young to have been Albert's (and possibly Hazel's) mother. Her tombstone and most of her records say she was born in 1902. Albert was born in 1914; Hazel in 1916.
Needed: Marriage records for both marriages; birth records for Albert and Hazel.
Children:
Albert C. Davis 1914–1998 (step-child, see theory above)
