42.William J. Bush--- Joined Magnolia in 1852. Was born in Laurens county, Ga., September 13th, 1811. He married Miss Mary Sheffield, daughter of Isom Sheffield, on June 26th, 1836. He was the father of William S., A.C., I. A. and James Fuller Bush, the latter being one of two surviving members of Early Guards, Blakely's crack company in the Confederate army. Mr. Bush died November 7, 1887.
