Biography

Elisha was born in 1810. He passed away in 1885. His first wife Hannah Page Bush died in 1878; the widower married again sometime after the 1880 census, to Ruthetta Jane Eckelbarger. When Elisha died, Ruthetta refused to the terms of his will and there was a long period of strife between her and Elisha's children in court. Also, see his downloaded obituary. Elisha's name and birthdate are inscribed on his monument, but there is not a death date as there is for his first wife Hannah. Is he buried there? Likely, if his children had any say.
