Biography

Edward was born in 1838. He is the son of Jonathon Butcher and Mary Jackson. 1841 census as an infant aged 3 with his parents in Bolsover, Derbyshire. By 1851 his mother Mary has died and Edward is visiting his Grandmother Elizabeth Carter in Whitwell, Derbyshire aged 13.
