Biography

Margie was born about 1928. She was the daughter of James Butcher and Bathenia Ward.

She was a second cousin once removed of Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle through the Butcher and Wells families.

Margie was a third cousin of Maybelle Carter and third cousin once removed of Helen Carter, Anita Carter and June Carter Cash. She was a third cousin twice removed of Carlene Carter, Rosey Nix Adams and John Carter Cash.

She was also a third great-grandniece of Jenny Wiley.
