Biography

Heart attack after working all day on the farm.

It is unclear exactly when his father died, as his father's will is listed as 1887 but he is born in 1888, his father living at the latest in December 1887, yet the will seems to be earlier. All i have is the will to go on and that he had an elder brother, so I have no will in front of me for late 1887.

Studied at the University of Richmond. Graduated with a specialty in herbal pharmacology in 1910, the last class with that specialty in 100 years. Was first pharmacist in Lynchburg, VA and ran Butler's Pharmacy in downtown Lynchburg for m ore than 50 years. Eventually retired to Coleman Falls, virginia to a cabin he spotted while horseback riding on Rocky Mountain Road.

Before he died he told my grandmother, "I have finally gotten this place looking good." He then died in his wife's arms. The cabin property is now in other hands and we can no longer enter the property. The house is in shambles and the lake now fills the valley.
