Biography
George Michael Butler, Moorhead, Iowa, died on April 3, 1982, in a Sioux City hospital.
He was born at Oakland, Iowa on January 3, 1900, to Uriah Butler and Rosina Fussner Butler. He was married to Maude Lovell on July 8, 1923, at Ida Grove, Iowa. Mrs. Butler died in 1975.
Survivors are one son, Glen Butler, of Soldier, one daughter, Mrs. Allen (Doris) Jepson of Blencoe, Iowa, one brother, John Butler of Spearville, Kan., two sisters, Mrs. Archie (Della) Butcher of Woodbine, Iowa and Mrs. Arlene Pennington of Daytona Beach, Fla., eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one grandson, five brothers, and three sisters.
