He relocated from Ipswich in 1739 when his parents were dismissed from the Chebacco Church in Ipswich and they relocated to Windham, Connecticut. He married Elizabeth Holt on January 19, 1757, in Windham, Connecticut. They had at least four children, Stephen, born in 1757 which must have died young and Zebediah and Sarah 1760 who also died young during their marriage, and Benjamin who was born in 1771. Thomas appears to have died in 1787 in Ashford, Connecticut.
