Biography
When William C. Butler was born in July 1839 in Oneida, New York, his father, William, was 48 and his mother, Susan, was 38. He had three brothers and six sisters. He died on May 30, 1905, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 65, and was buried in Los Angeles, California.
