Mary Jane Butler was born in 1860 in Guernsey, Channel Islands, Saint Peter Port. Her father, Thomas Butler, was 31, and her mother, Mary Connors, was 29.
She married John Rogers in 1877 in Fremantle, Western Australia.[1] She had one daughter with John.
Mary married Charles Frank Dixon on 22 September 1883 in Perth, Western Australia.[2] They had eight children together.
Mary died on 28 October 1923 in Beaconsfield, Western Australia at the age of 63.[3] She was buried in Fremantle Cemetery, Palmyra, Melville City, Western Australia, Australia.[4]
