Biography
Ellen Butler was the 2nd daughter of Thomas Butler, Viscount Thurles, and Elizabeth Poyntz.
Marriage and family
She married Sir Andrew Aylmer, 2nd Bt, of Donadea, son of Sir Gerald Aylmer, 1st Bt, and Julia Nugent, in 1634.
Notes
In some histories and on some websites she has incorrectly been called Eleanor, which is a confusion with her elder sister.
