Biography

Anne Butler was born on January 29, 1740 in Tisbury, Dukes, Massachusetts Bay. She was the daughter of David and Anne (Hatch) Butler.

Anne married Daniel Look about 1763 in Tisbury. They first settled and began to raise their family in Tisbury, then removed to Addison, Maine about 1770. They had nine children including Damaris b. 1764; George b. 1766; Moses b. 1767; Mary b. 1770; Mercy b. 1772; Eunice b. 1774; Hannah b. 1776; Anne b. 1778; Jane b. 1780; and Daniel b. 1782.

Anne passed away in 1824 in Addison, Washington County, Maine.
