Died in South Street, West Gorton South, Manchester of "senile decay". Informant present at death was Louisa Oram, grand-daughter living in Higher Broughton. [Margaret Parkes has provided death certificate (email July 2007)] Visiting daughter and son-in-law in Bingham at census in 1861
