Biography
SIMEON BUTLER was born about 1685, son of John Butler andPriscilla Norton in Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard. He lived on Farm Neck and was a tanner. He married HANNAH CHENEY Sept.11, 1712, daughter. of Thomas and Hannah (Woodie) Cheney of Roxbury, Mass. who was b. 14 March. 1688-9 and d. Feb. 1769. He was Representative to the General Court in 1732. He died in 1732.
