Worth Butler, 89, Bethany, died December 16, 1998, at his home.

Mr. Butler was born in Harrison County on May 21, 1909. He worked as a farmer and was a member of the First Christian Church in Bethany.

Preceding him in death were his wife Maxine in 1981; his parents Ovid and Martha (McDaniel) Butler; a brother, Ralph Butler, and two sisters, Mabel June Willhite and Geneva Kunz.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Lou Lawton, Ocalla, Fla; a son, Larry Butler, Centerview, Mo.; a sister, Bettie Barrickman, Shawnee Mission, Kan,; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Dec 19, 1998, at Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany with burial following in Miriam Cemetery.
