Biography
Winifred Butler was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Election Precinct 1, Cullman County, Alabama for the April 17, United States Census, 1940. She was noted as born 1936 in Alabama and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Alfred C Butler, wife Louie Butler, son Holland Butler and son Edward D Butler.[1]
Winifred Butler wed Donald W English June 5, 1953 in Cleburne County, Alabama. Her father was listed as Alfred Cecil Butler and her mother Lovie Whitley. The groom's father was listed as D H English and his mother Kathleen Walker as seen in an image of the original marriage register.[2]
Winifred Butler English died on October 30, 2008 in Cleburne, Alabama[3]. She was cremated and has a memorial on Find A Grave.[4]
