Biography

Sobiski was born on March 16, 1852 in Jennings County, Indiana and a son of Phineas Butler and Lusanna Scott. At the age of twelve, he was received by baptism into the Coffee Creek Baptist Church and in 1881 he was dismmissed letter. Sobiski married Mina C. Stewart. He died in 1940 and buried in the Bethel Cemetery in Indianapolis Marion County, Indiana. [1] [2]
