Biography

Married in Woburn, 20 March, 1693-4, Ruth, daughter of John and Abigail Wright.
Jonathan Butterfield (Jonathan Benjamin) was born in Chelmsford. He was a husbandsman at West Cambridge, near the Foot of the Rocks, now Arlington.
In February, 1706, he was one of a scouting party (Green's Groton) in the Indian War. He died in 1744. On June 18, 1744, the widow Ruth and sons Jonathan, John and William sign the mother's bond as administratix of the estate of Jonathan Butterfield late of Cambridge, deceased intestate. The widow died 1753-4

Butterfield-292 and Butterfield-139 appear to represent the same person because: You have created a duplicate to a Jonathan and Ruth Wright that are already in Wiki. They need to be merged.
Just to be clear, Elizabeth S did not create a duplicate. The duplicate was a Butterfield/Wright in wiki that I adopted and they are clearly duplicates.
