BUTTERS.—December 4, at her residence, Albert-street, Wickham, the wife of William D. Butters of a son. Sydney papers please copy.

In 1909, the licence for the Hawkesbury River Railway Hotel ^[1]was transferred to William Leslie Butters, a 22 year old who planned to operate the hotel with his parents. Robert Palmer had built this Hotel in 1900 and it operates today as The Anglers’ Rest.^[2]

1913 William Leslie Butters is confirmed as a Fisheries Inspector.^[3]
