Biography

Edmund was born around 1805. He emigrated initially to Canterbury on the Castle Eden in 1851 before relocating to Nelson about 1855[1]

He founded E Buxton & Company in Nelson [2] and built Broadgreen House.

He passed away in 1882 age 77[3]
