In March 1851 ^[2] the Buzza family lived in Gwennap, Cornwall, England. John Buzza (29) & Mary Ann Buzza (25) with children; John Buzza (5), Mary Jane Buzza (3) & Catherine Buzza (2 Mo)

Catherine's father John, aged 35, apparently arrived without any other family members at Melbourne, Victoria in July 1854 aboard the "Red Jacket" from an unknown British port.

In April 1861 ^[3] the Buzza family lived in Gwennap, Cornwall, England. Mary Ann Buzza (35) with children; John Francis Buzza (15), Mary Jane Buzza (13), Catherine Buzza (10) & Emiley Buzza (7).

On 12 November 1861, Mary, aged 34, apparently arrived with son John aged 15, and daughters Mary Jane aged 13, Catherine aged 11 and Emily aged 8 at Melbourne, Victoria aboard the "Alfred" from an unknown British port.^[4]
