Biography

Nancy was born in 1809. She is the daughter of Andrew Byers and Catherine Lawson. ^[1]

William Byers and Nancy Byers were married in Morgan County, Ohio on 29 Oct 1833.^[2][3]

In 1850 Nancy, 50, was living in Marion Township, Morgan County, Ohio without William.^[4] She had five children with her: Andrew, Thomas, John, Sarah and William, as well as 87 year old Catharine.^[4]

In the 1860 census Nancy was 50, head of her household in Oak Township, Mills County, Iowa with children Andrew, John, Sarah and William.^[5] Thomas Byers was living next door with his wife and two young children.^[5]
