George was born in about 1556.[1] He was the son of Robert Bye of Wrotham, Kent and Frances Hill, daughter of Richard Hill.[1]
George may have been the George Bing who entered Clare College, Cambridge in 1570, and was awarded a BA in 1574/5.[1][2]
George Byng married Jane Cromer.[1][3]
