One child is missing from John Dean Byrd - my 5th g-grandmother Sarah "Sally" Byrd. She was born in 1781 and married Adam Shields in Augusta, VA in 1808. They moved west to Illinois around 1830 and she died there in 1853. This can be confirmed through a couple of sources - Thanks! Kimberly Arnold

2. Botetourt County Virginia Heritage, pg. 96-7 - she's listed as a child of his in the BYRD AND ALLEN FAMILIES entry but there is no other information on her in there so I think her name got lost as I've not seen her reported in any trees of his family.
