Biography

When Thomas Madison Byrd was born on November 12, 1860, in Dacusville, South Carolina, his father, John, was 30 and his mother, Adaline, was 23. ^[1]

He married Helena Elizabeth Fleming and they had six children together. ^[2]

He then married Callie Elizabeth Hunt and they had one child together. ^[3]

He died on February 6, 1931, in Birmingham, Alabama, at the age of 70, and was buried in Duncan, South Carolina.^[4][5]
