Biography

Birth and Parents: Emmett Edward Byrd was born on 05 May 1928 in Ozark, Dale County, Alabama, United States.[1] He was the son of Edward Revesta Byrd and Erie Mae Hildreth.[2] He was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1930 and 1940 United States Censuses.[3][4]

Death and Burial: Emmett Edward Byrd passed away on 24 July 2008 in Dothan, Houston County, Alabama.[5] He was buried in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Ozark, Dale County, Alabama. According to his grave marker he was a veteran of the Korean conflict.[6]

Research Notes

Emmett Edward Byrd married at least once and was the father of at least two daughters, but because of the possibility/probability of his wife and children still being alive, information about them has been withheld in this biography. Gilchrist-1197 13:52, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
