Biography

William Henry Byrd Sr.^[1] was born 21 Jun 1882^[1] in Sheppardstown,^[2] Mississippi to Henry S. Byrd and Belle Adair.^[3][4]

His family moved to Texas when he was a child and he was raise in Hico, Hamilton County, Texas.^[2]

He was a salesman for Asbury Milinery.^[3][2]

He married Flora Childs^[1][3][2] and the couple had the following known children:

1. William Henry Byrd Jr.^[2][5]

William died 03 Sep 1955 at his home on 1012 N. Madison Avenue in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas and was buried in Laurel Land Memorial Park Cemetery.^[3][6][1][2]
