Biography

Henry was born in 1864, the son of Thomas Henry Byrne and Martha Sarah Ayers. [1]

In 1889 he married Mary Angela (Blaney) Byrne (1864-1916). [2]

BYRNE—BLANEY.—At St. Patrick's Church, on July 17th, by the Rev. T. O'Connell, Henry Edwards, youngest son of the late Thomas Henry Byrne, of Melbourne, to Mary, eldest daughter of of Henry Blaney, Governor of Toowoomba Gaol. —Melbourne papers please copy.

Martha died in 1916.

Henry passed away in 1917, aged 53. [1]

He was buried in an unmarked grave in the Dunwich Benevolent Asylum Cemetery. [4]
