Biography

estimated birth about 1747

Mary was the second daughter of Charles Byrne of Cullentragh, County Wicklow.[1]

Mary Byrne married John Dwyer.

Children:

  1. Michael born about 1772

Three cousins were the children of 3 sisters and thus had the same maternal grandfather Charles Byrne-722.

A complicated way to write this family relationship: Michael Dwyer's mother Mary was the second daughter of Charles Byrne of Cullentra, the first daughter Rosanna having married Hugh Vesty Byrne's father and the third, Winifred, married Arthur Devlin's uncle, Bryan Devlin. Thus Michael Dwyers, Hugh Vesty and Arthur Devlin were first cousins of Bryan Devlin's children, Michael and Hugh Vesty were first cousins but Big Arthur Devlin relationship to these two was that of a first cousin's first cousin.[2]
