Biography
Johann Heinrich Bähr was born at Arnstadt on 25 March 1727 as son of Johann Michael Bähr and his wife Christina Elisabetha nee Werner, and baptized on 27 March. On 28 January 1754, he married Anna Magdalena Heß who died in childbed in 1755. On 26 January 1756, he married Barbara Catharina Schwartz of Rittersdorf. Widowed again in 1785, he died at Arnstadt on 27 April 1793 and was buried there on 29 April.[1]
