Biography

1743 sep 2. In the Jordebok Stenkyrka 1764 - tjsf looks like Lars bought Lilla Dyrön and Hättan and Reersholmen from Sven Rasmusson cost 19 daler 21 "skatteköpt"[1]

1756 Sommarting (10/6 –nr 21).

Died 1787 from "Håll och stygn" which would probably translate to some kind of pain in the abdomen [3]. Some sources also indicate that "håll och stygn" could be pneumonia [4]

Research Notes

According to Arne Carlsson's book, it was Elin Rasmusdotters (Lars' wife) who inherited half of Lilla Dyrön and Hättan and Reersholmen from her grandparents Sven Rasmusson and Åsa Börjesdotter, Rasmus bought the other half, which the the pair then inherited or bought from Rasmus Svensson[6]. Might be a story worth looking into, I'll se if I can find the original source.

Sven Rasmusson mother Elin Andersdotter is related by marrige to above mentioned Olof Andersson from Kärrsön. She married his brother or perhaps son Rasmus who disappeared.[7] This is where the frequent use of the name Rasmus comes from, also worth researching.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Lars by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Lars:
