Hi Dan: regarding https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Comeau-248. We are researching this profile and would like to leave Jean where he is until we see proof he doesn't belong here. Please post what you have found directly on the profile under the = Research = section. Thank you so much for helping us get these profiles as good as they can be.

Hi, Dan, fixed the Xavier - that went to a different person. Added sources for as many people in these families as I could find tonight. Looking forward to hearing your thought/information when you have time.

Hi, Dan, responding to your note on Comeau-248 regarding wrong children. The PRDH record says the children on his record are correct. I added a list of them with birthdates along with the PRDH link. Do you have other sources that provide different information? This profile says Xavier and I don't find that name in his record, though. Feel free to post your findings ont he profile under Research Notes so others can see and contribute. Thank you for posting the note first.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

P.S. The Magna Carta Project welcomes folks who wish to improve profiles, but for Stoughton-56, you'll also want to check with the Puritan Great Migration project. And you'll need the Pre-1700 Badge to edit it - see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles
