I added the information for Mary Jane (Polly) Hardesty to my personal tree on my computer to match your adds. Also, I attached Ephraim, fit into the family line already completed of Belteshazzar and Martha Hannah Butler. I have a huge genealogy tree of all the Dragoo family lines but I only went as far as listing Belteshazzar and Martha's children and I am letting people of those children do their own lines. I don't want to be hoggish about it, but I will step in and assist when I see a need, such as Andrew not having parents, then I attached him to the parents. Keep in touch, we can work together. Carol
PS. I also found to be two Belteshazzar Dragoo's in one group of siblings for Andrew's children and I removed the grandfather and added Elliott as I already had him in my own database on FTM. We are also missing some sisters as well and I will see what time I have tomorrow and will try to add them as well.

On the McKnight name - it's mostly a matter of consistency, which allows us to keep a family together, instead of under two or more variant spellings. I have seen "Mc" names written with a space, and also with a superscript c. If there are substantial records giving variant spellings, those variations can be added to the Other Last Names field.

One or more photos you recently uploaded is a nominee to be our current Family History Photo of the Week. We'll feature the winner on the main WikiTree home page all next week and share it on our social networks. I assume you wouldn't mind having the photo featured like this, if it were to win. If for some reason you wouldn't want this, let me know right away and we'll remove it if you let me know before Friday. Also, it isn't necessary, but if you have any more information about the photo or the person,we would love to hear any stories or information that adds background. You can add the additional information in the comment box underneath the photo. Thank you!

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile.
Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.
WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, our G2G Forum and of course, our Mentors :)
Do you have any questions I can help with?

Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.
VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.
Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only one profile per person.
Hope you enjoy WikiTree!
