Hi, I noted with interest that you referred to Amelia Earhart a number of times. My husband Dale R. Otis is a distant relative of Amelia. I am not sure of the point of connection. Amelia Earhart's mother was Amy Otis Earhart. Her parents were Alfred and Amelia Harres Otis. Amy came from a wealthy family. Amelia Earhart lived with these grandparents until she was twelve.
