Biography

Robert Donald Cabana (born January 23, 1949) is the director of NASA's John F. Kennedy Space Center, a NASA astronaut, and a veteran of four Space Shuttle flights. He is also a former naval flight officer and naval aviator in the United States Marine Corps.

1949 Born in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, USA.
1971 Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, United States Naval Academy. Joined the US Marine Corps. During his Marine Corps career, he was awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal.
