Biography
Robert was born in 1833, in Chariton, Missouri. He was the son of Edward Blair Cabell and Harriet Forbes Monroe. He attended Howard High School, Fayette, MO.
On 6 Dec 1853, in Grundy, MO, he married Ellen Ballentine. They had no children. She passed away in 1854.
On 12 Aug 1857, in Pennsylvania, he married Alice Oliver. They settled in Grundy, MO where they had 4 children.
