Biography

Antonino was born about 1796 ^[1], son of Calogero Caccioppo and Margarita Addamo ^[2]. In 1838 at age 41, he married the 31-year-old widow Antonina Tumminello ^[3]. They had multiple children.

Antonino's 1838 marriage record indicates that he was a 'villico', a peasant farmer who did not own land.
