John Joseph Cadeau Jr. was born on 30 May 1914 in Baraga, Michigan. He was the son of John Cadeau and Matilda Auger.[1][2] He lived in the Baraga area and worked in the farm and logging businesses.[1][3][4][5][2] On 27 December 1944 he married his cousin, Rosella M. Cadeau, in Kentucky.[6] John passed away on 4 September 1995 at the Baraga County Memorial Hospital in L'Anse, Michigan.[1][2][7] He was buried at Baraga Cemetery on 7 September 1995.[1][8]
