Biography

Susan Cadotte was a Canadian First Peoples and member of the Métis Nation.

Sussette (Susan) Cadotte (Métis) was born at Red River circa 1820 to unknown parents.^[1][2]

Sussette married Edmund Stevenson (Métis, parents unknown).^[1][2]

At the time of the 1870 census of Manitoba, Sussette, widow of Edmund Stevenson, was enumerated (as Susan) at St. Peter's (St. Pierre), along with her sons John and Andre, and married daughter Helene (Clement).^[2]

The children of Edmund Stevenson and Sussette Cadotte include^[3]:
