Cemetery Records of Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti, Michigan, list Hiram Cady as being the Son of Warren Cady.

Jeremiah Cady and four of his sons, including Warren, sustained their patriotism by serving their country during the Revolution; He and sons William and Phineas marched April 22, on the Alarm, to Cambridge, where the father was Major in Col. John Patterson's Regt. till Aug. 1, 1775, and his two sons were privates during the same time. Jeremiah Cady Jr., the boy of 15, enlisted in the same regiment June 3 of same year and served two months and three days. Another son, Warren Cady, enlisted Oct. 12, 1781, on an alarm, and served 18 days. The sons William and Phineas both enlisted in the Continental army and served for several years.
